I am gobsmacked that you find that source insightful. It’s like consulting LDS Freedom Forum to find out what Mormons are like. That there is an entry for my high school tells you how seriously to take the Urban Dictionary. Edited August 31, 2018 by jkwilliams 1

But it is also a metaphor of women who feel like men have put nails in their head as they mock them for feeling pain. After all, nothing is funnier than seeing an injured woman. I'm surprised they didn't just crucify her. Now that would be soooooo fun. I’ve seen the video multiple times and laughed but on this topic, on this thread the misogynistic nature of it just made me feel sick. Like, is this how the Bishop feels when I raise concerns about the Primary...”oh, just shake your head and nod because irrational Sister so and has a concern again.” I guess this is why I vent on an anonymous message board instead of raising my concerns to my Stake or Priesthood leaders. I don’t believe they will take me seriously and that they may tie it to the strength of my testimony. 6
juliann Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 Is Urban Dictionary written by Incels or something?

See my high school’s entry for an idea of how seriously to take it. Here’s the “top entry”: Calabasas High School A disgustingly rich, stuck-up high school swampedwith spoiled, drug addicted, and self-absorbed children. Most people at Calabasas High School are completely oblivious of their wealth and fortune. The males have highly egocentric tendencies, while the femals are always willing to exploit themselves. Calabasas also boasts one of the worst football teams in America, due to the fact that the school is almost exclusivley white. If you want your children to become cultured and world-conscious, Do NOT send them to Calabasas High School. Oh, I got expelled from Agoura so my parents made me go to Calabasas High School. Worst mistake of my life. I'm transferring to El Camino next semester. I couldn't link to the "they" definition page because of its "colloquialisms".

I think this whole thread is a debate over what is defending modesty and what is shredding it to pieces. As far as .I am reading things, everyone considers themselves the defender. 3

The problem is that no such slandering has happened here. It may have happened many years ago on ZLMB, but it hasn’t happened here. Insisting it has just derails the thread. Maybe that was the point. 6

Scott, seriously....start your own thread to defend modesty. I'm pretty sure all we women could make a pact to stay out of it and not interfere and you guys could party all night. This is bsjkki's OP so it's not your call. 6

I don't mean that in a misogynistic way. Many people (men and women) share concerns with my Bishop that are....well.....bonkers. I try to show patience with one of the people who does this as I am beginning to wonder if they suffer from paranoid schizophrenia. It would explain a lot. 1
