Tragically, one of their churches in our city was burnt down by arsonists over the weekend. The entire structure was lost, including their food pantry and the op-shop that supported it. Your post just reminded me that I want to contact them to ask about making a financial donation. Our ward council is planning to send a letter of support and sympathy. 6

So ask if you can seek a humanitarian grant of food to replace their pantry, and an invite to share your building (and participate in rebuilding theirs). The church has done all of those things in other communities. Maybe you can buy a few of the books mentioned above and send them along too so they might feel more comfortable accepting. 1

Many more would try to get along (and them some) if they prayerfully pondered the teachings/movement of Baptist lay preacher William Miller (a contemporary of Joseph Smith). Alan Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 This guys been around for years. He joined the LDS Church at one time, but later left and flirted with the RLDS/CofChrist, Restoration Branch movement etc. I exchanged emails with him a few years ago. Seemed harmless enough.
