Almost being the opperative word.

Even in cases where genes influence weight it does not influence it enough to cause obesity. It just makes it more likely. The people I am talking about are the one in a million people with serious disorders.

People would pay to see the unbelievably fat man. I have people in my ward and in my office that are that large now. If genetics were the primary cause of obesity then our genes have mutated in the last century because only in the last few decades have people claimed to have spontaneously ballooned to that size or larger because of genetics.

There has been a shift in food quality but if people want to they can circumvent that.

It probably wasn't the mother's genes that influenced the baby's size.  She most likely has diabetes, whether type 2 or gestational which results in dangerously large children...which is why the doctors get **** about controlling it.

There's no shame with currently having an imperfect body, either. Don't let the merchants of discontent convince you otherwise.

'Cause all of me
Loves all of you
Love your curves and all your edges
All your perfect imperfections

I gained 90 pounds from my anti psychotic medication Olanzapine. Wikipedia it and see people have sued the manufacturer for severe weight gain. I had my psychiatrist switch me to another anti-psychotic medication and I've lost 50 pounds since then but it still leaves me with 40 extra pounds than I used to have. Girls used to compliment me on my great body and now I feel fat and ashamed, even at 6 foot 4. I started taking Olanzapine after my psychosis episode back in 2013 so I can sleep since after the psychosis episode I went 4 straight days without sleep and was hospitalized and given the medication. It worked so well and was so effective, but it seriously screwed up my metabolism in the form of gaining 90 pounds without eating more. Beware what some meds can do to you and some people wind up with bad bodies as the result of other factors.

Thank you, wasn't paying close enough attention.

The world record for heaviest birth is held by a 22-pound infant (known only as "Babe" because he died 11 hours after delivery) born to giantess Anna Haining Bates on January 19, 1879. One needn't be a giant to give birth to a giant baby, however. The record for the heaviest surviving birth was set by a 22-pound baby boy born to Carmelina Fedele of Aversa, Italy in 1955.

But wearing comfy white robes seems so much cooler than running around naked for eternity.

I want to wear my royal blue Dodgers t-shirt that my wife gave me for Christmas.

Gained 50 lbs in three months with mirapex.  Still taking it off, sigh.

3 years ago I started seeing a new Dr. and I was taking Lorzapan for Anxiety and I got up to 270.  That same drug caused me to be diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.  My current Dr. took me off that drug after it caused a severe alergic reaction to something else  I was taking  and in 6 months I dropped back down 60 lbs to a normal weight for my height. Im finally off all my Diabetes meds too. Woo hoo.

If we do I hope they're the ankle to wrist, crotchless style.

Looks like it might be.

  • JSH 1:31 He had on a loose robe of most exquisite whiteness. It was a whiteness beyond anything earthly I had ever seen; nor do I believe that any earthly thing could be made to appear so exceedingly white and brilliant. His hands were naked, and his arms also, a little above the wrist; so, also, were his feet naked, as were his legs, a little above the ankles. His head and neck were also bare. I could discover that he had no other clothing on but this robe, as it was open, so that I could see into his bosom.

  • It was while they were living in Nauvoo that the Prophet came to my grandmother, who was a seamstress by trade, and told her that he had seen the angel Moroni with the garments on, and asked her to assist him in cutting out the garments. They spread unbleached muslin out on the table and he told her how to cut it out. She had to cut the third pair, however, before he said it was satisfactory.  - James Allred History (admittedly, a questionable reference since it almost contradicts other references).
