Adam God Theory viewed as a Thinking System

Brigham Young saw complete coherence and consistency in his Ideas concerning Michael and Adam.

Anyone who thinks like Brigham Young will see the same coherence and consistency in his teaching.

It is obvious that Orson Pratt does not or did not thinking like Brigham Young.

The LDS Endowment had many of the ideas that Brigham Young once presented to the 1852 April Conference.

Today the LDS Endowment has less of the ideas that Brigham Young once presented in 1852 and till he died in 1877

Let us say that Brigham Young presented "Right Brain" type of thinking concerning Adam and Orson who disputed this

til his death was a "Left Brain" type of thinker.   Could it be that the style of thinking found in Joseph F. Smith and Orson

Pratt prevented them from seeing the fullness of Brigham Youngs View concerning creation and the role of Michael in

the Endowment as it was presented in the 1800's?  Do we need to improve and increase our thinking skills to see how

this all works together in harmony?

I think we can trace this happening through the history of the church.

There are those leaders with a more "scientific" way of seeing the world and the "truths of the gospel" and those who see it all more symbolically and abstractly.

Even today one could go through conference talks and notice this.  I have been aware of this for some time- it accounts for a lot of the discussions here as well.

People of good faith have different ways of seeing the world, and understanding these broad categories I think help to cure some of the alleged "conflict" we see in interpreting language and "doctrine" insofar as Mormons have any doctrine at all.
