LOSTONE Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Are there any good Mormon movies out there? I am not sure what such movies would be like, but just wondering cause ... Well, just wanted to ask. Thanks.
Grudunza Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 God's Army and State of Grace.I also thought that Plates of Gold was a great depiction of JS's early Restoration years.
bluebell Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 The Best Two Years is awesome. Errand of Angels is also very good.

katherine the great Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 My favorite LDS produced movie ever is "Silent Night." Fabulous!
Doctrine 612 Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 State of Grace is an LDS movie? It's incredibly violent (not to mention the prolific F word use!)No it's called " gods army- states of grace."
Grudunza Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 No it's called " gods army- states of grace."Yeah, that's the one.
Tacenda Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Yeah, that's the one.I ran into the guy who made the film, brain cramp forgot his name, and he was giving out autographed copies!I've always liked "Mormon" films. And bet that the new film studio being built soon will yield many more. My favorites are of course, "The Best Two years" and believe it or not I loved"Hometeachers" too, it was silly but had some heart too!

LOSTONE Posted January 25, 2015 Author Posted January 25, 2015 Thanks for the suggestions. I am making a list and checking into these movies. I don't think Redbox carry some, but I can probably find them on a streaming service. Thx again.
