Four Big Bangs: Theism Defended Against Atheism With Science

It is kinda hard to answer a question not asked. For the record the Maya Civilization ended c. 1300. Spain became a country in 1469.

Yes, that was indeed your response to my post that the records of the Mayans were destroyed by the Spanish.

Clearly I was mistaken.

The Maya is a Mesoamerican civilization, noted for the only known fully developed written language of the pre-Columbian Americas, as well as for its art, architecture, and mathematical and astronomical systems. Initially established during the Pre-Classic period (c. 2000 BC to AD 250), according to the Mesoamerican chronology, many Maya cities reached their highest state of development during the Classic period (c. AD 250 to 900), and continued throughout the Post-Classic period until the arrival of the Spanish.

In doing some further looking the time runs from 900 AD to the one I quoted from Wikipedia.  Take your pick.

I'm fine with anytime before the Spanish Conquest. By the time of the Spanish Conquest the Maya were long gone probably because of agricultural collapse and internecine warfare. The Aztec became the big boys on the block.
