Brian 2.0 Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 In the Salt Lake Temple the temple president has a room with a bed and shower. It's there in the event that he works late one night and has an early meeting the next morning. And wasn't Talmage basically living in the temple when he wrote Jesus The Christ. I thought I remember hearing he'd write, take a nap, write again.
ksfisher Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 And wasn't Talmage basically living in the temple when he wrote Jesus The Christ. I thought I remember hearing he'd write, take a nap, write again. I don't know if he was living there, but he did write some of it (I don't know how much) in the temple. The desk he wrote at is still in the room he used. (That's not a fairy tale, I've seen it.)
The Nehor Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Well, he didn't seem to have time to straighten up the tomb after he woke up, so maybe it's just something he does?In the Church video they were all neatly folded. I wonder if anyone ever reused them.

toon Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 I knew a security guard who worked nights at the Salt Lake Temple and claimed he sometimes saw a light coming from the Holy of Holies room when no one else was supposed to be there. He was told it was probably Jesus visiting His temple. Why would Jesus visit a temple of nobody else was there? 1
JAHS Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Why would Jesus visit a temple of nobody else was there? It's His temple. You would have to ask Him.
The Nehor Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Why would Jesus visit a temple of nobody else was there? He was seeing dead people or people who died but got better.
