Truth 101 Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 http://www.southparkstudios.com/full-episodes/s07e12-all-about-mormons I know I've referenced this episode a lot, but it is really funny. My mom is TBM as it gets and she thought it was hilarious. Give it a watch if you haven't already. There isn't one thing in that episode that is wrong about the church. Seriously.
Kenngo1969 Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 (edited) Huh. To each, his or her own, I guess. Is your "TBM mom" also a fan of the profane, vulgar The Book of Mormon: The Musical, which was also made by "South Park's" creators? I find it curious that if a similar parody were written about Jews or Muslims, it likely would open and close on the same night (and at least some people would be outraged), while Mormonism seems to be the last socially-acceptable target of similar prejudice. Tacenda Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Ok, forgive me for hijacking this thread, topic is "Have You Seen This" . But need to ask if anyone has tried this. It's called Adya Clarity. http://www.waterliberty.com/reviews.html Is this a scam, and am I behind the times?
Sleeper Cell Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Ok, forgive me for hijacking this thread, ... Since the OP was banned, he probably is in no position to complain.
Calm Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 (edited) There are places that naturally have more fluoride than what is added without I believe any evidence of problems, so I think fluoride automatically bad is bad science. For me that is often a red flag. And the way they do it is the worst weaselly fearmongering I've seen for sometime....'we aren't saying it, just some people out there...and here's a link!'"If you follow any of the alternative news websites, many people actually believe fluoride is being put into the water to sicken and dumb down the mass population. Most water filters only take out a portion of it and you still end up drinking it. It still accumulates in your body and it creates its negative effects over time."There have been a number of purifiers out there. I would look at reviews not on the site to see. Also any time you see this kind of claim, look up the name with "scam" to see the negative reports and if there are sufficient to give you pause. Tacenda Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Thank you Cal! I just needed help before I forked over the money. I did a little research but had to run off to a meeting. And then came home to your research. I appreciate your time. ♥
