Do You Think You Will Be Exalted One Day?

And it's helping!

I don't know if you read it, but on another thread, I mentioned my neighbor has shown some signs that he might have Tourettes. And everybody loves that guy! He has a son on a mission that has shown some signs also and they love him where he's serving.

My neighbor is so fun to be around, but I never want to get on his bad side, he doesn't use much tact.

I'm glad you're getting some help on your thread here.

Try not to think of the "E" & "G" words if possible. ;)

You seem to be a really nice person. :)

Haha thank you for your kind words! Ya, I was diagnosed when I was 7 and it can be rough on a person. It's like a mix of mild autism, OCD, and mild aspergers all combined. I am certain it's played a role in some bad decisions of my life, and I'm hopeful that will be taken into account during judgement. I'll try not to think about the E and G words.

Is it possible the plural marriage thing is correct for a requirement for exaltation, and we can choose our many many different people to be sealed to in the next life? I mean, there are going to be billions of people not sealed to anyone who die. I assume there will be no jealousy in the next life.

I think it would only be possible to be required if there were either very, very few exalted...which I don't see...or plural marriage was available to all, iow a woman had multiple husbands. Otherwise the numbers couldn't really be sustained unless the sealing pool extended to other worlds and there were worlds that didn't have almost equal male/female birth rates, but were primarily women.

This concept always makes me revert to the bible's version of marriage, where Christ said that there was no marriage in heaven.

Your husband must love knowing that you're looking forward to being rid of him.

I have never gotten why the 'ew' factor matters to people when dealing with perfected beings...do they really imagine such perfect and balanced individuals are engaging in some sort of eternal orgy? And if not, then what is the problem?

Why is no marriage somehow better than a shared marriage?

I have the thought that I will still be with him. But, I believe we will have a different purpose, angels, is what the bible states. But if wrong, I'm sure my husband won't be alone if there's polygamy. Carry on. :)

We will ALL be Sealed to each other. There is no exaltation without it. Marriage is a different issue.

Marriage isn't what a lot of people think it is, either.  Some people get too hung up on the "wedding ceremony" aspect of it.
