Some want to play harps and some want to sing.No, not perfectly happy, even though some people can think they are well enough off. Just like how some people will tell you they are happy while they are living in sin. They're not really happy, or at least not as happy as they could be, even though they define they regard their condition as the "happy" condition. Wickedness never was happiness, and never will be, even though some wicked people will repeatedly tell you they're happy while thinking they're as happy as they can possibly be.I think it could be that misery, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder, and some people just don't realize what they don't have.

There are all shades and degrees of glory and we're both somewhere in the middle between both extremes at the moment.

I have actually met a couple of them. 1

I have actually met a couple of them.I always did with the expressed purpose that I would be able to visit my family if they were in diffrent kingdoms. But now I'd be happy living as an angel, and believe we all will live together as angels living similar lives as we did on earth, same faith, family & friends. That's my idea of heaven.

I would say many billions will not, according to what the discussion on this topic has been through Church. Many are called and few chosen type of stuff.True, many will not choose to be like him, but this does not excuse us to stay out of the game and sit on the sidelines. Wherever we end up is our choice. There are millions (if not billions) of bad parents, but this not mean I should be, we cannot control others, only myself. But no matter when any of us end up, a loving parents will decide our faith...with some he will plead that they stay, for others their fate will not be a surprise. Doing our best is our calling...all worship is a parental (hope I spell this right), we choose (and he loves us enough to let us choose) to be obedient children to a righteous Father, or we choose to be un-obedient. But regardless. He is kind and loving and deserves us to return the favor. Live well and let the future or the past be as it my. The gospel is on the earth to afford people to "come unto Christ" and then 1,000 years of peace to afford the chance for those, to whom, missed the opportunity in this life. The way I see it, if I know I'm experiencing a lower of glory (intelligence aka light and truth) than I otherwise could be experiencing with a higher order of glory then I'm going to be feeling a bit low/miserable knowing I don't have it as good as I could have had it. ...As a female (who cannot hold the priesthood etc. etc.) I have thought a lot about learning to be content while experiencing a lower degree of glory - Is it ok to make this comparison? you know, us women are not the "head" of the household, we'll never be bishop, we'll never be top-dog - and yet, most women are happy with this. To me, it's a choice of either being "with" others, or "in front of" them.... and which is more glorious, to be "in front of" or to be "in the midst"? as far as I am concerned, they are both glorious places to be... I suppose the same could be said of ending up in different kingdoms, at least there are plenty of children's stories of princes dressing up and pretending to be a commoner for a day to get away from the stress of being a King, and then there are commoners who daydream about being a King - it seems like there is green grass on either side of the fence... and a few weeds on either side of the fence too.Here is the story I tell my two daughters:Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess born to a noble King and Queen. Her parents held a baby-shower type of thing for her, and decided not to invite a cranky old witch, so the princess ended up being raised by 3 fairy Godmothers (you know that part of the story) - so anyways, this princess grows up in the forest as a commoner not knowing who she really is - she thinks she is just one of the other pessants, she works with the other commoners, she pays her taxes with the other commoners, complains about the laws, occationally makes fun of the royal family, has friends who are commoners, and grows to have a deep respect and love for all of the pessants in her little village - she sees the glory of being one of the people, because that is what she is too - one of them.... so then one day her prince comes, and she finds out what family she was born into and who she really is, before she knows it she's married with a crown on her head - only here's the thing, the moral of the story - when she becomes Queen, she becomes the best queen the countryside has ever seen, because she respects and knows everyone in the village - she does not consider herslef above them in any way, she considers herself as being one of them. The thing she worries about most, is being separated from her close friends and countrymen because of her new position - so she doesn't boss anyone around, she serves everyone, she opens the castle up to be a school/hospital/library/community center, and she takes up residence in one of the little cottages in the village etc. etc. She redefines what it means to be a queen, and as she has chosen to live as a villager, she also redefines what it means to be a villager - being a villager is now such an honored profession that even a queen would give up her position to be one. ... and isn't that what Jesus did for us, chose to become mortal like one of us? and perhaps that is what we are doing now as well, living in mortality, and learning there are joys to be found here? and as we live in mortality, and then live in perfection - we will experience it all, we will find joy and respect in it all, we will see within ourselves everyone else who is around us, because we have lived like them too - and so we are one of them, and one with them - so it doesn't matter where we are now, or where we were, or where we might be in the future - we become a little of everything, all rolled up into one, and so we can be united and one with everyone no matter where they happen to be within their journey.
