I am so sorry for your loss.

We are so blessed to have temple blessings in our lives, giving assurance that we will, indeed, be reunited with our loved ones who have gone before us.

I don't know where the quote came from, but I remember a friend using it at my Dad's funeral service. I'm probably paraphrasing but it said: As the sun sets on one island it rises, in all it's majesty and beauty on another, and so it is with our spirits. We leave our illness behind us and arrive, beautiful and whole in the next world.

Praying that the Comforter will bring you peace and comfort during the days to follow.

Brother USU,

I am so sorry to learn of your enormous loss.

From reading your many contributions on this board, I am confident when I suggest that your bride was blessed to have you at her side for all those years.

Sorry again, friend.

Peace,to you and yours

<br />Words are not enough.

They most certainly are not. It is during these types of discussions that I get really frustrated that the only way to communicate with people on the board is long distance, it would be so much more 'right' to be able to simply reach out and hug someone rather than struggle to find something to say that comes close to meaning what I feel.

One does not need words if you can hug at times like this.

May the Lord bless you and your family at this time of trial.

We buried Kim this afternoon in Brigham City . . . a drizzly, blustery day that didn't allow the possibility of the tent to keep our heads dry. Cleared up for a bit between the service and the graveside . . . but as the piper was marching off towards the trees playing Going Home, it started up again.

Still kind of numb, but it was great to have family and friends around.

Thanks for all the kind words, my MADster friends.

The Bishop I served with and now our Stake president is from Brigham City…

But you get some rest now.

USU78,

Sending hugs and prayers to you and your family. I hope you find comfort in knowing, that one day you and your wife will be reunited and that your wife is now free of her earthly pains and limitation. We are here if you want to talk. I wish we could take your pain away.
