Wow:

The United Nations was busy recently, deciding what every country in the world needs to be teaching their wards. Not wanting to be left out of any meeting that involves the programming of children's minds, the National Education Association had a seat at the table.

The brought their sexualization of children packet and made the case for teaching, well, everything...to middle school kids:

Even from a health standpoint now, it is known to be a contributor to throat cancer, and rather than adhering to strict morality, they will impose yet again another immunization that they will soon try to force everyone into.

I'm not against immunizations. I'm against it as a something to promote immoral behavior.

What is wrong with that woman? Teaching 12 year olds about oral sex is going to fix society?

Were is Jaybear?

Nope! The left and the gay crowd don't have an agenda at all.

There are reasonable voices everywhere. The U.N. is no exception. The reasonable voices outnumber the shrill voices. But reasonable voices don't make interesting nooz, so we get this slanted even distorted exposure of a weirdo group and their agenda.

It's like the GLBTQ advocacy representing all homosexuals or otherwise not exclusive heterosexuals. Most people within the so-called "gay community" are not nearly so radical as their advocates make them appear to society: most "gays" want to be free to enjoy a life with the person that they love for life, without prejudice or even notice, and at the same time have all the same civil rights and protections and obligations under the law, etc. You'd think, from the GLBTQ advocacy as a whole, that most "gays" want to lord it over heterosexuals and make them pay somehow for the centuries of prejudice heaped upon homosexuals by heterosexuals: they want the laws to protect them and benefit them as a specially recognized "minority group", etc. This is not the case at all. Most homosexuals, et al. non exclusively heterosexuals, are reasonable people and only want equality.

So in this case, sex education is sensational whenever it appears to threaten family and freedom of religion. I'm not saying that the danger isn't there, but it is containable as long as the vast majority shut down all attempts to pass forced sex education through proper legislation. So stay aware and stay informed and stay dedicated to justice for all. We should see such vociferous hate groups put in their place. They can spout all they want to, in the U.N. or before Congress, etc: that is their freedom of expression, after all. But that is all they'll get from a majority that disagrees with their policy of force....

Ideally every child should be taught about sex by their own parents. But that just doesn't happen. Now the question becomes do we leave the children ignorant and hope for the best(not a good outcome), or do we teach them in school according to their age and maturity .

BTW. 7 year old girls are starting their menses.

Although QB is right, it is a radical minority that is of this feeling, I have a feeling that radical minority will be growing.

Resistance time, wouldn't you say? I think civil disobedience will do, if this comes into effect sometime in the far future.

Personally, i don't see letting the school do it as a good outcome either.

Who needs family and religion when we have the all-knowing state?

Just take the soma Walker. "There is always soma, delicious soma, half a gramme for a half-holiday, a gramme for a week-end, two grammes for a trip to the gorgeous East, three for a dark eternity on the moon."

The Huxley analogy is classic.

Maybe it's like that old, tired mormon apologetic argument......she must have been speaking as a woman, and not as an educator

my first thought in clicking to read the article, was "well, this article is most likely sqewed and can't be trusted" So I read the article at C-fam, and then did some research on CSW

First, in my freshman health class in College, the professor spoke about when she worked in a clinic, and a patient came in who had tested positive for STD's. The patient stated "I can't have an STD I only have anail sex". This patient was religious, and was "saving herself" for marriage. Little did she know anything about sexually transmitted diseases. Simple saying "Don't have sex" isn't and does not cut it. Some kids think and believe that oral sex is not sex, therefore must be safe. Others as demonstrate, anail sex is not sex, therefore must be safe. Just recently articles on Google News have pointed out the mouth cancer is on the rise, and the rise is linked to oral sex. I grew up in Public School in Texas, we had health class and learned all about reproduction and STD's. And as stated, parents fail in teaching/educating their kids, either out of negligence or ignorance. A health class is a perfect time for peers to learn about where babies come from and how babies are made, and the dangers involved with sex. I recall in 7th grade during an anatomy lesson, a kid asked if it was normal for one testicle to hang lower than the other; the answer YES, it is. And that kid could stop feeling like a freak because his body was normal but he didn't know it.

As for the "righwingnews" article

And you might not believe this, but the UN agreed:

FALSE. Thomas Lambert was the person who made the statement about Belguim. Thomas Lambert is Deputy Permanent Representative of Belgium to the United Nations. The panel he was on was about Sexuality, Homophobia and Transphobia: The Need to Improve Access to Education and Work Panel organised by the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association and its partners 23 February 2011, Church Center Chapel, Church Center Building

Thomas Lambert does not represent the UN. The UN did not agree to anything, unless one can show in the resolutions adopted.

As for the take on Brave New World, an anonymous blog on a the University of Valencia webserver isn't exactly an authoritative source. (the blog is from Maria del Roc

Frankenstein... I'd have to say that I disagree that this is a good reason for supporting what they are though.

In my experience, people don't need to be taught about the mechanics of the 'other' sex related things to know the danger of STD's. Rather, say that any use of your sexually-related organ in relation to another person has the danger of an STD. No need to make it any more specific. Keep it vague. Furthemore, when I went through health class, they on purposely did not go into great detail about the mechanics of even regular sex, and so I do not think that mechanics of other related things are needed whatsoever. There is enough talk that goes on at school for someone to already know by that time period, sex education, if anything, is little needed, in relation to regular education.

There is safety in being vague, that there is. I am fine with how it is, and going into more detail, imo, is going to lead to more problems.

Best Wishes,

TAO

Want to know something funny.... I've been working on this lady's computer who is a former U.N. employee from Virginia, and she is the quintessential liberal, exhibiting every aspect I've seen on TV, the web, etc. She still works for them as a contracted part-time translator. She's a sweet person, kind, and even while not rich willing to be generous with what she pays me for my work, but she is every known clich

Today's schools have a terrible time teaching students how to read ,write and do 'rithmatic. What makes people think that they can teach how to have sex(or not) adequately?

Where is Dan'l/Darin?

We already know that the military kids are being forced into re-education in order to accommodate the despicable end of DADT.
