Why should I trust some random stuff that an anonymous guy pasted on the Internet without citations more than the most reputable news source in the country?

You trust the dominant media. There are thousands that verify all the points documented. No CFRs since it is too close to being political.

These:

Eric Adams rose from the ranks of NYC police officer. He likely had much interactions with the common people which enabled him to have more empathy for the concerns of everyday Americans. Although he might be considered a typical Democrat, his display of independent thinking infuriated the "powers that be" that will punish any who stray from their most important "narratives". Remember what happened to Rod Blagojevich?

You forgot to include links.  Are they all from The New American?

Which might seem reasonable on the surface for prosecution. But that is nothing for the usual day to day activities for mainstream democrats. There were other considerations under the surface which the "powers that be" went on the offensive. Something I am NOT going to discuss on this board.

Now you making it overtly political. As I said to Analytics, all of the points raised are documented and verified by your favorite sources in the dominant media.

I posted the info before I saw your claim for it making it too political (there is a minute difference between your “no cfrs” post and mine and I may be quick, but I am not quick enough to search on 3 or 4 quotes to determine their sources and then come up with three references in 1 minute).

Trying to figure out a source is not making something political, but looking at credibility.  I would have done the same for any unlinked list of quotes (and have) on any topic.

You putting up quotes without the actual source and then trying to shut down discussion of the actual source in answer to the question “what source do you suggest I turn to for information on how Trump won’t prosecute the corrupt mayor of New York” is odd imo, to say the least.  Quotes are not sources, the site publishing them is the source.

Intentionally posting other people’s work without giving them credit even if not doing it to avoid tainting with their obvious bias is dubious, imo.  I wouldn’t label it plagiarism because you are not claiming the credit for yourself, but see it as problematic. People deserve credit, good or bad for the work they do.  It is, imo, taking advantage not to give it to them.

Plus if it is so easy to find documentation for all those claims from sources more acceptable to those responding to your posts, then why didn’t you go that route rather than quote without attribution?

Then you shouldn’t have gone there in the first place.

I went to my source because it provided a wide range of points on why Eric Adams was being prosecuted by his own party. I did not want to take the time to search all the publications for proving that all the points that are also documented in the dominant media. I also did not want to name the New American because I knew that over half the board has extreme prejudice against the controversial organization (I suggest all of you to visit anncoulter.com for obtaining a higher perspective on how the John Birch Society has been wrongfully demonized). Also Ezra Taft Benson has been unfairly criticized for his respect of the organization (although he was not a member but one of his son was). I fully respect Ezra's perspectives on the dangers of totalitarianism and communist subversives.

As an example, here is an item from the New York Post:

Adams puts foot in his mouth, claims he wants to cooperate with ICE on civil enforcement — and quickly walks it back

Referencing Ann Coulter for legitimacy isn't going to help your case.

Just a little reminder of what he was actually indicted for - https://www.justice.gov/usao-sdny/pr/new-york-city-mayor-eric-adams-charged-bribery-and-campaign-finance-offenses
