JAHS Posted July 11, 2023 Posted July 11, 2023 BYU's Kenneth Rooks fell with 6 laps to go in the men's steeplechase final at USATF Nationals, but he got back up and rallied past the favorites to win the national title 4
Calm Posted July 12, 2023 Posted July 12, 2023 (edited) How did he do that? He had to run so much faster than the others or take the leaps with more momentum. I get the adrenaline boost of a fall might help in an odd way to recover, but got to wonder how fast he would have been without the fall he had been able to keep the same pace.
