I remember discussions though that for most cases that occur in the church, a background check would not have pulled anything up, so they can provide a false sense of security. I think that, at times, she gives critics of the Church of Jesus Christ far too much of the benefit of a doubt that they do not deserve while, at least sometimes, imputing bad motives to the Church and to the faithful. But she's a big girl and can stand up for herself, if need be. P.S.: The post you're critiquing is a little old (a couple weeks). But if what's floating your boat and putting wind in your sails is to criticize what I write here, here is a link to everything I have ever written on this Board that can still be accessed. I think it's probably a questionable endeavor, and that your time, effort, and resources are much better spent in other pursuits, but, as I say, if it floats your boat and puts wind in your sails ...
