Looking at an ABC news report we can see the flat earthers are experts in creating and defending conspiracy theories. The enemies of the church do the same thing. The enemies of the church create conspiracy theories like: General Authorities don''t believe, Joseph Smith plagiarized from the Bible, Book of Mormon witnesses were paid actors, the church is funded by the GOP. Just like the Flat Earthers the enemies of the church like to rationalize bad conspiracy theories. Anti-church conspiracy theories are unfalsifiable fairy tales, but anti-Mormons will find ways to rationalize all of them. You can never disprove anything anti-Mormons say. Every time we the defenders of truth point out the flaws in anti-Mormon arguments; the enemies of the church are quick to defend their bad theories. For example, when anti-Mormons accuse Joseph Smith of adultery with Sylvia Sessions, we defenders of truth point out the DNA evidence proving there was no affair, but the anti-Mormons reply with nonsense like "But Sylvia wasn't sure who the father was". IT impossible to disprove the "not sure" idea. The anti-Mormon seriously need to stop defending bad anti-Mormon arguments and bad conspiracy theories. All they have are ideas that can never be disproved.

All they have are ideas that can never be disproved. " Absolute generalizations are generally inaccurate and uninformed, imo. Making claims like the above set up believers for a faith crisis when they encounter arguments that have substance. And it comes across as trollish behaviour as well after all your time on the board. They are about 99.99% accurate for direct paternity when the test comes back positive. Add a lot more 9s if the test comes back negative. Though if you are dealing with multiple generations DNA testing gets dicier unless you are dealing with a straight unbroken line of males. For example if I was testing against my dad’s dad’s dad because the Y chromosome is not mixed with another. But yes, you are quite right that it passes the standards of most courts of law. It is ironic that Sam is trying to argue that disprovability is hard when he invents non-scriptural and non-scientific floods for fun and trots them out as a kind of evidence. Jeanne Posted March 15, 2018 Posted March 15, 2018 (edited) I am an ex-mormon..not really a critic..but my theories come from all of you..and other sources that enfluence my knowledge with my own experience. Why make a bigger divide when all you have to do is listen..you don't have to respond..but if you want, put forth you view without anger.
