Marriage. Divorce? And then?

I'm not a lawyer, so you might want to ask one, but it seems to me that if an employer is asking about your marital status, that strays into forbidden (il)legal territory.  I'm still reflecting on your other question (for whatever the reflections of an Eternal Bachelor may be worth), so I'll be back (or not). :)

And then marriage and then another divorce followed by marriage and your spouse dying and then getting remarried and you dying and then your spouse remarrying then getting a divorce and then remarrying again.

Was that what you were looking for?

Nope.

Thanks for playing though.

Understood.

To be more clear, my intent with *this* thread wasn't a discussion of mortal/regional laws, or employment/money.

But thank you very much for taking the time to offer input on something you thought I might be seeking.

Much appreciated. Meanwhile, I now have the answer I was seeking.

And then you go on to find new ways to serve, new things to explore, new ways to look at things you used to only see one way, new friends who become family.    You become something more than what you have been already.   I'm am sorry for your loss (grieving the end of a marriage is just as important as grieving the death of a spouse --- do it completely so you can get beyond it).

I was simply needing to decide an appropriate course of action of the things I do control.

And I was seeking to leverage this forum as an initial sounding board for what others might draw/infer from scriptural/revealed guidance on the topic.

But I have my answer on that now.

Thanks otherwise *very* much for being willing to talk. It means a lot.  :0)

Yes, a recent update removed that option.

I reported you wanted it closed.
