The last season and the current one have been absolutely hilarious.  They've introduced a new character ("PC Principal") and hit absolute home runs in their skewering of the current PC Culture, Yelp, city redevelopment into mixed use,  as well as people who shop at Whole Foods, media fawning over Caitlyn Jenner, and social media addiction

I never really liked the show's brand of humor. I picked up an episode here and there but never enjoyed it enough to watch regularly.

You all realize that the Church's rolling with the punches in this and other cases has completely disarmed the ignorant masses of cultural idiots pervading the late Gen Y and early Gen Z don't you?

"No one in this world, so far as I know — and I have searched the records for years, and employed agents to help me — has ever lost money by underestimating the intelligence of the great masses of the [American public.]

I knew this. But by censoring their version, they ignored Islam because of threats.

The censorship was Comedy Central's doing, not South Park's.  They delivered an uncensored episode and fully expected it to be aired.

But I wouldn't blame them if they had made the decision to "ignore" Islam, considering people had been killed and similar threats had been made against them.  I don't expect them to die defending my expectations of consistency in parody.
