I see these also as definitions, as God creates definitions and organizes verbally by defining experiences

The creation was by the Word, by whom all things were created....

God "called" (defined) the experience of light as "day" and darkness as "night"

And he "calls" (defines) the creative periods "days".  The calling the periods "days" is even clearer in the temple version.

Our definitions of reality ARE reality "as it is" at least as far as we can understand it.  Language is how we think and understand everything.

Yep. As you point out:

Thanks for agreeing with me that science has nothing to do with religion. :)   Actually the church insists that it affirms all truth including science.  Truth comes in "spheres"  D&C 93

God's "sphere" is His word....not the temporal world. He only uses things in the temporal to reflect His truths, and His reality. The things of heaven.

Only Joseph had the authority to remove or add or change scripture...or go back and change it again.:D

Um... Ha ha. You are avoiding the point, and JS did not remove that from the scriptures, so you can either deal with the point or continue in your own Protestant paradigm.

The Bible does not agree with Sola Scriptura and therefore most Protestants. There will be more scripture. "two witnesses shall prophesy for 1260 days." Rev 11:3

God didn't. Man wrote, edited and translated the Bible.

God spoke, man wrote. In the NT, it was Jesus who spoke as YHWH Elohim, and the Holy Spirit who brought it back to remembrance to be written. In the case of the Book of Mormon it seems to be usually, the Holy Spirit revealed, and man wrote...

In the case of Joseph Smith, it was several things. Has the Bible been tampered with or even some books lost? definitely. Going back to the earliest sources resolves most of those problems tho.

Neanderthals intentionally buried their dead with flowers. They died out a long time before 6,000 years ago.

SEE http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2013/12/131216-la-chapelle-neanderthal-burials-graves/

You really like them Neanderthals. Maybe you missed your calling in life ;)

Be glad that you live now after God introduced His covenant and His word to Adam.

We have no evidence that God lived in the Neanderthals. I'm not saying they were bad. They were just part of God's creation... the sixth day. But apparently the spiritual creation had not been impregnated into the physical yet...or something like that... haven't fully comprehended that yet I guess.

I do not know what you mean by viewed properly but religion makes all sorts of claims about the origin of the universe, how life came to be, how humans came to be and so on.

None of which is a dinosaur.

soft tissue found in dinosaur bones in Montana discovered 1 foot below the ground surface.

Dr.Mark H Armitage on (peer reviewed research) found a dinosaur with soft tissue in Montana buried only 1 foot below the surface of ground.  How could soft tissue survive 90 million years? Simple it can't.

In the Catholic bible Daniel has 14 chapters. Chapter 14 is The history of Bel, and the great serpent worshipped by the Babylonians.  Daniel kills the dragon by feeding it pitch, fat and hair boiled together.  Very interesting http://drbo.org/chapter/32014.htm

Daniel lived in the time of Nebuchadnazzer, the greatest King of ancient Babylon. Interrestingly enough the gate of Ishtar has images of a "dragon" still today that was worshipped as a god.

He calls himself Dr. Armitage but according to the site Creation.com he is only a doctoral candidate at Liberty University. His MS comes from the former, uncreditied, Institute for Creation Research in California (a diploma mill).

How can soft tissue survive 90 million years? It can´t. Armitage´s paper was challenged on that very fact, that no one else can re-do his work and get the same result. The fact that he submitted his paper while he was working as a lab technician has caused quite a storm, as well, since he was neither teaching nor doing research at California State University Northridge, CSUN.

So, if you believe the Apocrypha, how about satyrs in Isaiah?  You know, the half-human fauns or goat-like demonic animals which dance in a deserted Babylon (Isaiah 13:21, 34:14).  Or how about the dragons also in Isaiah (Isa 13:22, 27:1, 34:13, 35:7)?  And that crooked serpent, Leviathan (Isa 27:1), and the fiery serpents (Numbers 21:6-9, Deut 8:15), fiery flying serpents (Isa 14:29, 30:6), and the six-winged talking seraphims (Isa 6:2,6).  Not to mention the Cherubim.  Do you believe in all those?  Literally?

My favorite topic. The flaws in science. There is , however a faint light at the end of a tunnel.

Many here will like the guys last statement. Oh, and by the by, soft tissue has been found in fossils by many reputable researchers other than Armitage. Of course there always is the ' nothing to see here ' group who dismiss such.

According to the Bible, all the beasts and creepy things were created on day 6, along with the whales.  Before the flood obviously the earth was much different than today. Something enabled the dinosaurs to get huge, supposedly there was more oxygen or greater atmospheric pressure that allowed them to become massive. Things were different because insects, animals and man lived much longer.  Adam live 900 years, to get a dinosaur as big as they got would take quite some time. So dinosaurs were on Noah's ark (baby ones, much easier to manage), they were called dragons. The term "dinosaur" was not invented until the 1850's? Noah's flood destroyed all flesh except what was on the ark. It would take a massive catastrophic event to bury some of the larger dinosaurs, something like a volcano could bury one quickly, or say a massive flood.

The problem for you here, snowflake, is that neither the Bible nor science justify your imaginary statements.

I know it's hard to accept, How about Dr.Mary Schweitzer, she found soft tissue in a t-rex femur. http://naturalsciences.org/staff/mary-schweitzer

She got fired as well for rocking the sacred evolution boat.

No it doesn't

It is all symbolic.

Prove that either your position or that position is "true".

Some of these (Isa 13:22) appear to be literal creatures. Others (Isa 27:1 ) appear to be future events, similar to the red dragon in Revelation.  It's interesting how my LDS friends will always point out metaphors as evidence that God has a body. In Genesis we are made in the image of God, so that must mean God has a body.  However, In Ezekiel 1 my LDS friends will toss out also that God has the appearance of a four living creatures with four faces and wings.

And we get flak for horses in the Book of Mormon

Go figure.

And if you read what Dr. Mary Schweitzer actually wrote in her research, then read how upset she gets with how creationists have mis-interpreted her work. She also writes that creationists purposefully lie using her material.

And Schweitzer didn´t get fired. that is an urban legend.

That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:

Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

2 Peter 3

Robert, it appears that you are willingly ignorant of the creation and the flood as warned by Peter. Are you denying that there was a global flood?

I think the point is that there are many scientists around the country getting the same results, soft tissue in these dinosaur fossils. Come to your own conclusions. You are attacking the messenger instead of the data.  How is it possible for these results to be happening?

What I am saying again and again is that you desperately need to make a serious study of Holy Writ.  Till now you have shown contempt for the word of God, probably simply because you have never been urged to take it seriously.  You are substituting fairy faith for faith in God.
