Andy Williams! 1
VideoGameJunkie Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Mick Jagger will probably wind up in spirit prison for a bit when he passes. He's claimed to have "been with" over 4,000 women and some men. Rock stars probably do have a good chance of spending time in spirit prison, Ahab could be right. Especially Michael Jackson if the allegations against him were true.
Tacenda Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Maybe suicide...watching 20/20 and Dateline. Some information gives me that impression. He was pretty racy in his concerts, wish he felt good enough with out all that. 1
Kaleb Webb Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Quote Every generation has their favorites. Just give me some Patti Page, Patsy Cline, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Nat King Cole. There are so many that when you start you know you will have forgotten so many others. Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Louis Armstrong... 2

Loved the movie about her life with Sissy Spacek (sp?). Maybe Prince didn't end his own life and really had some kind of virus or flu. But to die alone and in an elevator is so heartbreaking.
Tacenda Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 Prince was called "Brother Nelson", sound familiar? http://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-prince-jehovah-20160424-story.html

Amazing someone with that much celebrity not being whiplashed in public for being a "homophobe" -- not believing in gay marriage, or, for that matter, that homosexuality is against God's commandments. Quote When asked about his views on same-sex marriage and abortion in 2008, Prince tapped his Bible and told the New Yorker, “God came to earth and saw people sticking it wherever and doing it with whatever, and he just cleared it all out. He was, like, ‘Enough.’” Orson Scott Card doesn't get that kind of forebearance -- maybe he should take up playing the guitar. And you got to be impressed by journalists: Quote He arrived and left without fanfare at the group's gatherings, which are called "meetings." Well, duh. "Meetings".
thesometimesaint Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 I think it is a better use of time to worry about how long we will spend in Spirit Prison than how long someone else will.
