Has anyone else noticed a greater portion of the Spirit in their studies and lessons this year? 2

strappinglad Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 Imagine the explosion of speculation and criticism if president Monson or another Prophet in the near future were to bring out the manuscript for the remaining 1/3 of the plates. So many questions would arise. It would definitely be a sheep/goats separator .Are we as a people ready to read the history of the world through the Second Coming and beyond ? ( Sorry to those who believe it all to be metaphor ). 2

I believe that if we follow the instructions of President Benson to read, re-read that we might to discover it again and again. When we as a people become that kind of people, God will no longer keep it from us, then we will be ready.

cinepro Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 Sadly, I suspect any chance we had of getting the "sealed portion" died in 1844. But I would be thrilled to be proven wrong.

Unlike the 1820s where there was a chance they would be stolen, the Church can protect the plates by putting them in secure vaults in the mountains of Utah.
