It comes out to about $5 per member per year in humanitarian assistance rendered.

It will be one more thing for critics of the church to attack and even if the church is innocent it will sow doubts as many will not understand the argument or naively assume that because there are so many accusations there must be some truth behind them.That and they might discover our secret AdamOndiAhman plans and our secret Danite militia set to conquer Missouri and begin the new Mormon World Order.

I would have no problem if church leadership decides to disclose their financials but I see many good reasons not to and support them either way.

VGJ -- Be aware that the Church does not have to use the funds in the category to which they are donated. They may use them as they please (see the tithing slip).
