Robin Williams Passing

My son Isaac has his own YouTube channel, and although I do not recommend the body of work he normally produces, he did do a nice and a short Robin Williams tribute.

My best friends mom had Parkinson and that is the only way I have known her. this is a tragedy. That is all I can say about it. He didn't need to go kill him self. Lots of people live through the same types of things that troubled Robin. I am just sad that he did it.

I have looked into it and indented to began posting here and so on. Either way keep posting. In any event as with message boards, I hope keep the and leave with more friends than I loose. :)

Also to edit and to note: Because I try to always use the same name at all sites it can get confusing, with overlapping threads and posts.

That was beautiful, Stargazer.  Thank you for sharing.  Do you have a link to the photo of Aladdin and Genie?  It appears to be a painting, not a still from the film.  It's wonderfully done.

Stargazer your son is very talented, loved his YouTube!!

I recently watched two of Robin's semi-recent movies, "World's Greatest Dad" and "The Angriest Man in Brooklyn".  I had to quit watching the "World's Greatest Dad" because of the language and some content, maybe it turned out really good?  And rented the second one which I liked it fairly well!  But it wasn't like his oldies.  But will continue watching these recent movies.

FYI, it might have been mentioned already, but I heard or read here ;), that there will be a tribute to Robin at tonight's Emmy Award's!

( Did ) he take his life because he was to weak to fight for his life and to put the love of his kids and wife over his pain? Was / is there alot more to this than anyone will ever fully understand including his kids and wife and we are best not to say without knowlege of the full true facts?

I think there's a lot more to this than anyone speculating could approach to essentially render said speculation worth less than the paper it's written on (and most are Internet postings).

I don't know where he got that from, actually. It's possible he created it himself, but I can't say at this point. I should ask him, right?

I watched Hook to see another fun and great performance he did. He brought so much joy and laughter and happiness to so many lives. I hope his soul is at rest and is blessed.

I watched "The Fisher King" the other day and absolutely loved it!  I hadn't seen it before, probably because of the R rating, but not a bad R at all.  A couple of -f- words and that's it!!  Unless I'm terribly desensitized.  One of Robin's best films in my opinion.
