teddyaware Posted April 25, 2013 Author Posted April 25, 2013 (edited) Considering there are no Mormon Chauvinists, they really are in disarray;)Oh Yeah! Go and ask some of the more redical of the LDS feminists out there if they think there is no chauvinism in the "male-dominated" Church hierarchy today, you may get a resounding no as your answer. Though I've tried to mostly steer clear of feminist writings and thought throughout the years, through osmosis I've absorbed enough knowledege about that philosophy to know there's a fine line that separates "male patriarchal domination" and outright chauvinism. I'm chortling as I write, so I'm not taking myself too seriously here. So if there are any strong LDS feminsits the board, please don't hurt my feelings. I'm just having some fun here and being attacked verbally might emasculate me. Edited April 25, 2013 by teddyaware

It's rare indeed when you find a marriage where at least half the time husband doesn't feel like his wife is the "mommy" and he's just a "naughty little boy... "

" Since people are responsible for their own feelings, that is an issue of the husband, not the wife. If he has a problem with feeling that way, he needs to considered why he allows himself to get in that position.add-on: should be equal opportunity here so will say a woman who feels like she has to be a mother needs to look at herself first and foremost as well. (and that is no joke). Seems they make a good bra but that doesn't mean the boys and I have to be subjected to a regular viewing of womens underwear catalogues.

Seems they make a good bra but that doesn't mean the boys and I have to be subjected to a regular viewing of womens underwear catalogues.I remember when I was younger, walking past a Victoria's Secret store in a mall. They had a video showing out to the world of shoppers (small children even) on a large TV, with attractive women in various states of provocative undress. The store manager was standing at the entrance, so I stopped, made a show of watching a few moments of the video and then I turned to her and said,"All women should be dressed like that all the time, dontcha think?"Now, my suggestion would surely have led to increased sales. Nevertheless for some reason she did not think much of my idea and made it clear with an expression of contempt. Go figure. Edited April 25, 2013 by CASteinman

The men who are treated like little boys who need a mommy usually deserve to be treated that way. It must be a hormonal thing...

I may have to petition Obama for an entitlement program to care for your special need. Thanks, -Wade Englund-
