Nemesis Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 We know the site is becoming sluggish and at times being unreachable. Our site traffic has almost tripled over the past few weeks and the servers are maxing their memory out. Please be patient if things don't improve on their own I will look at possible upgrades for the site to handle the load.Nemesis
Saints Alive Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Election season, I am sure this is one of the first sites that comes up when you search Mormon, right after Mormon.org and the anti sites
Calm Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Not even close for just "Mormon". Perhaps in regards to some specific issues it might.

SamIam Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 Not even close for just "Mormon". Perhaps in regards to some specific issues it might. This may have been mentioned somewhere else, but word has it that when the Olympics were in Utah the church was receiving 400 requests per day for information about the church. Now with Mitt running for president they are receiving 1000 requests per day. Obviously, it appears there is a great deal of increased interest in the church and perhaps it is spilling over into all things LDS...
MormonMason Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 A number of times the problem was not so much server load as DNS errors. This also should be looked into, I think.
