It's sort of a fun joke between him and the kids in the front row, and such.

There are some clues that the comet will be especially bright, possibly as bright as the Great Comet of 1680. I am reminded that Joseph Smith once said:“There will be wars and rumors of wars, signs in the heavens above and on the earth beneath, the sun turned into darkness and the moon to blood, earthquakes in divers places, the seas heaving beyond their bounds; then will appear one grand sign of the Son of Man in heaven. But what will the world do? They will say it is a planet, a comet, etc. But the Son of Man will come as the sign of the coming of the Son of Man, which will be as the light of the morning cometh out of the east.” (Teachings, pp. 286–87.)So, I wonder if this comet is the one that is meant. If so, we got about a year before it gets very obvious. And maybe this is what is to be announced.I doubt it, though. I would be quite surprised, but it was the first thing that popped into my mind.

I don't think people understand how the brain can be affected by high or low sugars.

He is also going to Germany for a week later this month.There have been other instances in the fairly recent past, though (Gila Valley temple dedication, young women's broadcast, general conference where he was late to the session and quickly taken out with contact prevented, etc.), plus what some people know through other sources.These are not "rumor" --- they are indisputable observations. My source made it clear to me (and this was a little over a year ago) that the symptoms come and go, and are sometimes not evident at all. I don't know anything about medication for age-related dementia, but maybe they've gotten medication regulated perfectly?In any case, I think we're all thrilled to see him doing so well!
Calm Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 It depends on the cause of dementia which is very varied in my understanding. Medications can even cause it. Most can't be reversed but some can. Tried to link tI a site on it, but it wouldn't take for some reason(hate using an iPad). PubMed Healthhas a decent article on it.
