What Are The Lds Views Of The Rapture?

I'll trust you know what your people authoritatively believe. So, as it stands now for LDS, do THEY need to do anything before any of those three things can occur? Historically, a hundred years ago, fifty, ten, right now, I'll glad hear whatever you have.

In a word nothing. God is in control. There is nothing we must do before these things can occur. The events preceding the second coming will occur no matter what you or I choose to do. You are, however, avoiding the issue. You are continually failing to explain what this so-called Rapture is, consequently, asking what we must do before the rapture occurs is self defeating. Since you have failed to explain what The Rapture might be then it is impossible to answer your question.

For alleged Christians to be clueless of what the Rapture is speaks volumes. In any case, if you missed the Left Behind book series, or the numerous movies on it, it comes from the Latin Vulgate 1 Thes.4.17 rapio which means "to catch up."

Ain't no rapture. Isaiah says that at the Second Coming the sinners will be cleansed from the earth and the earth will be filled with the righteous. So, those "left behind" are the righteous.
