Erroneous multiple post

Are there any non-erroneous multiple posts?

One wonders.

Ah, good point. I've always had a problem w/redundancy. Heck, I may be redundant, myself.

!2 pages of posts on this topic!! Amazing! I was only on post 32, when I was so deeply offended by such an insensitive comment about rocks, which are very slow to give any offense whatsoever. I'm tempted to refer this to the Simon Wiesenthal Center, or at least the the ACLU, as another extreme example of Mormon/LDS intolerance and lack of sensitivity.

Depends on how desperately one wishes to make a point! ;)

I would point out the multiple posts from the Angel Moroni to Joseph Smith.

This particular case makes it seem rather convenient to voice offense over this. I just don't see why its so offensive.

Some people don't understand why Mormons claim the Temple ceremonies should not be talked about in public. They don't understand why Mormons find this offensive. To some this sounds like nothing more than a "rather convenient" excuse to keep embarrassing ceremonies secret. Does this mean it isn't really offensive to Mormons just because other people do not understand why?

The more you folks keep criticizing the offended, the more it makes you look guilty of offending. It doesn't matter if you accept their claims as legitimate feelings of being disrespected. But by all means, keep complaining. That is your right.

Colossal irony aside, perhaps Kevin has a point. After all, if anyone should be an expert on the counter-productivity of insensitivity and complaining, it is him. Maybe we can learn from his unrivaled mistakes.

Just curious. Does anyone find this web site offensive?

Really?! You think that is appropriate to post a link for? I don't - Ares

It was a great laugh when I saw it and even a better laugh when I told my husband.

"No undo" was the best part.

So according to that website it appears that being gay is not something one is actually born with, but can be changed into at least. ;)

No, just incredibly ridiculous. The really stupid thing is that there is nothing that even remotely parallels the Gospel concept of baptism for the dead that it is vainly attempting to parody.

I kinda thought so to, but it is ridiculing Mormon beliefs which I find distasteful.

I concur, offensive because it mocks our sacred beliefs, not because they are "turning dead mormons gay"

Can't really tell here....do you find the beliefs distasteful or the ridiculing?

Since I doubt anyone believes punching a button a computer will turn someone gay after they are dead, I would say I find the ridiculing distasteful. I am sure someone felt justified in ridiculing the church because of the actions of the church against gays, but it doesn't make it right to me.

Thank you. I would agree the website trivializes the experience of both.

Please. Your message was good (and very accurate, I must say, especially about talking to the cops and others who may hurt you), but four times?

Well, Moroni visited Joseph four times so I...oh, what the heck. The stupid system here is to blame. I hit the "send" button but nothing happened, so I hit it again. Nothing happened so I...well...you get the point.
