Pro-LDS YouTube Channels

Just for the fun of it, I thought I would start this topic for folks who want to share pro-LDS YouTube channels they run into. As some of you are aware, as a hobbyish activity I've been cataloging them as I find them. So far I have 196 channels in my catalog.

So to start out, here's a brand-new channel I just found today: Latter-Day Try-Hards. It's been posting only since 29 December 2025, and at this moment has only 68 subscribers. Here's one of their earliest videos, which is called "Don't Bury Your Gifts and Talents....OR ELSE!"

Since I like to overdo things sometimes, here's another one I just found today. It's mostly a music channel, all in Brazilian Portuguese, and the songs are really brilliant. The name of the channel is "Jovens da Igreja de Jesus Cristo" or "Young people of the Church of Jesus Christ" I posted one of their videos already in @poptart's Music Thread. But at the time I didn't realize they were LDS-related until I finished listening to this video here, when the Church logo popped up! The use of the logo makes me think the channel may be an official channel of the Church, but the channel information is a little equivocal:

"Welcome to the official channel of the Youth page of The Church of Jesus Christ! A channel created especially to uplift, entertain, and guide young people around the world based on the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Here you will find music from The Church of Jesus Christ, the Youth Mutual CD, stories from Mormon missionaries, broadcasts with the Area Presidency, and much more! Formerly the “LDS Youth” channel." 

The title of this video in English is: "Faith : Young people of the Church of Jesus Christ".

Okay, here's a new one: Covenant Fire.

This video is his newest (as of today), and because of the thumbnail (a missionary baptizing a skeletal corpse!) I first took it as an anti-LDS video and channel. Until I started watching, that is! I think the thumbnail is a clever troll, designed to attract eyeballs.

Is it pitched to members or nonmembers?  Because if the former, isn’t that using outrage to get clicks?

Makes more sense with nonmembers as curiosity would be a stronger driver.

As this was his first video I saw, I commented on this, saying:

"By the way, when I first saw the video's thumbnail (a missionary baptizing a rotting corpse) I thought it might be an anti-Mormon video. But then I watched it, and wow, no it wasn't! And both the thumbnail and video title will definitely attract more eyeballs."

His response: "that is the point, You need to know how to make click bait thumnails. Ive been doing this for two years and its only in the last few months that ive gained traction. For a lot of reasons."

I have found that the competition for eyeballs leads to even highly popular channels resorting to click-baity thumbnails and titles.

Here's a new-to-me channel that is actually fairly popular if judging by subscriber count (59.8k), but since it originates in Colombia and is in the Spanish language, it's possibly something that wouldn't come up via the YT algorithm for English-language viewers. But many of their videos have been auto-dubbed into English, so here we go. If you get this video in Spanish and you don't understand the language, hit the "Settings" icon and select the English dubbing.

The channel is "Canal Lamanita," or Lamanite Channel! Here's a recent video in their "Come, Follow Me" series. In Spanish, "Ven, Sigueme." The video opens with a song that I found particularly moving. I think the song was written specifically for the channel:

So, it seems that the video series is following along with a presenter, Nydia Vera, and the song was composed especially for the channel. It seems like the music and the video might have been created using that AI song app that @ZealouslyStriving uses.
