How many temples will be announced?

My mom thinks 12 with 2 being in the US.

I think 10 with 4 being in the US.

Anyone else want to make a prediction?

I can't make a prediction, since Pres. Nelson has just now been announced the list, and I didn't see this thread until just now. I had a number in my head, which was 15. And my guess was correct! I didn't have any thoughts on locations, though.

One of the locations was Norfolk, Virginia, USA, and there was an audible reaction from some in the conference center. Norfolkians, I imagine!

I was trying to check the church website to see if they had put the list online, but apparently the website is very busy at this time. Can't get in!

Norfolk was an interesting choice, being so close to the Richmond temple.  Based on no facts at all, I attribute it to a strong Church presence in the military.

A couple of those places outside of the US , I would be hard pressed to find on a map. The Church really is growing worldwide.
