Managed to catch feelings for someone yet again. All indications are it is mutual and she is showing interest. I need to stop spending time around interesting people doing interesting things. It never goes well.

Sorry I am just venting.

It is just random chemicals rushing through my brain. The pain of saying “no” to myself will pass. No one’s fault. Just stupid mortality.

I have people with me though.  That makes a huge difference. 
 

It is weird, this week my husband is off on a road trip with my grandson and my son is off with the rest of his family.  So my usual support system will be gone for 4 days.  Feeling a bit exposed, though there are plenty of people I can call if any problem.  
 

I have a huge streak of “loner” in me, but there is no way I want that life,

To me you have a much harder road.

The struggles you (speaking generally) are familiar with usually are preferred to others from what I have seen (unless there is a big, big difference).
