The whole state is happy and by the end of the weekend we should have about 15 ft of snow up at Tahoe Mountain area. Google speech changed my title if the mods care to correct it. That's over in Utah in the Rockies. At least that's what they told me when I used to live in Vegas. I suspect they've been over using the lake because I checked the historic snow records and they've never gotten under 100 in in the last 20 years. 1

The rainfall numbers were artificially increased and distributed such that average rainfall even before climate change was a thing couldn’t provide the water allotments promised. No one wanted the political fallout for saying that this was unsustainable so the only people saying it were outsiders who couldn’t change policy. 1
