Those high of levels need intervention, you should be getting treatment if possible as bad longterm effects as well as short term (my 30 year old daughter is diabetic and her moods and pain levels, nausea are uncomfortable at anything over 200, miserable over 300). Tacenda Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Get some help, it's out there, I think some of your posts tell me that it's affecting you. People are there to help.
rpn Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 I hope you are on diabetes medication --- blood sugar doesn't "go down" without that. Ask your dr about the new one that also helps people who use it drop weight.
SteelMagnoliainTexas Posted June 8, 2022 Author Posted June 8, 2022 Walking will drop it quite a bit....by about 100 points. I met a woman in her s ventures who said she was diagnos d with diabetes type 2 and she never took any medicine for it. She loves ked into what foods would help with the disease and she corrected hers with certain foods. I dont seem to have the time to always shop "properly" but cabbage and red grapes and eggs and spinach name a few. Yes, I'm under a nurse practitioners care....or she might be a PA.

Yes walking can bring it down. Some people are able to manage type 2 diabetes with exercise and diet. However, if you are running in the 400-600 range for very long I would get concerned, especially if you don't know a cause. Grapes raise a lot of peoples sugars. 1
