I think we had some looting and vandalism  Friday or Saturday but that has all stopped. The organizers and the city are working together to keep things peaceful.

The whole article is filled with stats. There is room for improvement but the facts are police kill less unarmed people now and the number is decreasing.

BIG UPDATE:

Portland is getting heavily bombed with tear gas. These cops are nuts. They reported projectiles at them but they fired. When the protesters fled they were driven into traffic and the police continued firing so people driving in their cars who were not part of the protest got gassed. Protesters have gotten better. They are equipped to neutralize tear gas and are doing so except a few they threw back. A truck driver appears to have been gassed and panicked or couldn't see and just ran towards a crowd. Luckily no one was hit. Serve and Protect I guess.....

Now flashbang grenades at the same crowd. They are trying to get away from traffic. The veterans are doing good at crowd control and guiding everyone not to run as panic running can get people killed.

More gas into downtown traffic. Several cars swerving. What are you doing you idiots? People in their cars screaming and crying and not sure how to treat it. It is amazing no one was hit by one of the cars.

Now Seattle is getting tense but Seattle police seem calm.

Interesting post from reddit that got quarantined. H2O smuggling is a priority now and gets you a watchlist.

"Just a heads up. my friend was dropping off water in Miami today and then got pulled over and searched by police. After that HOMELAND SECURITY showed up and he had to talk to them for another 40 min. They asked “why he was dropping off water” and also said that they had him flagged for also dropping it off two days ago (wtf). They then searched his car for “antifa”. This whole Antifa / Terrorism situation is f***ed for this exact reason. They literally had him flagged and could accuse him of terrorism for dropping off WATER and so what they are gonna consider these things terrorism now? Sick... be careful when you are in the streets. cover your ***. This is bad."

Makes me wonder if my internet activity has me on a watchlist. Oh well.

Okay, protests are still amazingly growing in size and spreading. I am seeing them in a lot more suburb including one I grew up in. Someone posted flyers earlier in my home town threatening to loot all the rich people stores unless they donated. It screams disinformation. I am guessing it was meant to provoke a conflict from a militia group.

A lot more militia out. A lot of guys wearing paramilitary gear badly.

In Seattle last night a police officer stole an umbrella and then tear gas started getting fired. Tonight the crowd brought a lot of symbolic umbrellas. Plus....Seattle, never know if you might need them anyways.

By that time, authorities had cleared most protesters from the area, arresting people who stayed on the streets past the countywide 6 p.m. curfew.

One of the guardsmen notified officers that Wong had arrived in a civilian sedan, and he wasn’t a member of their unit, despite his military uniform.

Wong allegedly told police he was there to provide security for a friend’s establishment.

He was arrested on suspicion of transporting an assault weapon, officials said. Police don’t believe he intended to harm anyone.

Inmate records showed Wong remained in custody Tuesday afternoon on $50,000 bail.

LAPD is continuing to investigate the incident, and no further details were available.

 

Also, this is the first night where we have protests in all 50 states. Bismarck, North Dakota. Awesome.  

Portland is marching back towards the "sacred fence". It is a joke because they get driven back so now they joke about one day touching the sacred fence.

Munitiions being fired again in Seattle and Portland. A shame. They almost got to the sacred fence in Portland then police weapons set it on fire. Seattle looks like they are cloaked in fog there is so much tear gas. A guy with a leaf blower is pushing back the gas. The gas in Seattle was in a residential area. Some residents are going to have issues with it in their homes. Fortunately it dissipates quickly.
