Duncan Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 https://www.thechurchnews.com/members/2020-01-15/multicultural-choir-general-conference-april-2020-172061?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=church+news&utm_campaign=facebookpages&fbclid=IwAR2t6fhCcWBf12NbyR_o0tF3f3eCCtR505WsVIes5VFPmTfXUeRUSk7t6sE I assume you have to be multicultural to apply and be able to sing
BlueDreams Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 The singing part is likely especially important. I had a lady at our little ward choir mention this. I wanted to do it....but I don't think I can fit the time commitment in 😕
sunstoned Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 Having a guest choir on the program does add variety. I am looking forward to it.
longview Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 I have not been able to find this but several years ago the ladies Maori choir sang in their native language "We Thank Thee O God For a Prophet". It was very energetic and spine tingling. The general authorities turned around to gawp at them. I would love to get the video of that general conference. Anybody help with finding it?
