I don't see any reason to believe that regarding the Prophet Joseph Smith.

For one thing, his remains have been unearthed and moved by what was then known as the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints.

Are you implying that we don't know where the body is?

No.

The bodies of Joseph, Hyrum and Emma were initially buried nearer to the Mississippi River in Nauvoo, but in the early part of the 20th century (1930s, if memory serves) the Reorganized Church, fearing that the remains would be washed away by the rising river, unearthed them and moved them to their present location on the grounds of the Smith family homestead in Nauvoo. There, the graves are well-marked and available for viewing by tourists.

There is no good reason to suppose Joseph has already been resurrected. I expect that he, with the faithful saints in this dispensation, will come forth in the morning of the First Resurrection.
