bluebell Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 I know when i was serving in Santa Rosa CA in 1998 that one of the Jewish congregations used the LDS chapel across the street for their holy days. We tracted into a Jewish man who told us about it. He was very appreciative and I thought it was such a cool thing. 1
readstoomuch Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 Seventh Day Adventists and Lds share churches fairly frequently in the south. Just before Katrina I went to a professional conference in New Orleans.Church was held at a beautiful synagogue. Wondered if it survived.

I processed that story after it was submitted to us. You got the time frame a bit wrong. The Jewish congregation has been using the Mormon meetinghouse for a year now while their synagogue was being renovated. The story was about their last Shabbat meeting in the Mormon facility, at which they invited the local Mormons to join them. But I’m glad you liked the story. Edited October 20, 2017 by Scott Lloyd 2
