I have said this before but where I live there are no LDS women around my age except for 2, one is dying apparently and the other one is mean but i found out she got engaged so hey, better that guy than me! So, my PB tells me to choose a woman who wants to be sealed in the Temple, well only members want that and I don't know what to do. I married a convert the last time and that blew up in the face big time and I don't want to see that show anymore. So, I sit and wait for someone to move here, that is my only option at this point.

Duncan... are you at a point where you can consider relocating somewhere that has a larger population of Mormons, including women of your age group?  Sometimes one has to take the chance and turn the corner in their life... to open up new possibilities and options... I wish you well...  GG

I am forty-six and have been widowed for over 12 years.  I live in a very small (very Mormon) town.  Most of the single men are related to me, ha ha ha.  Or my husband, more accurately.

Anyway.  I ABSOLUTELY love being single.  I would rather enjoy my freedom.  Any marriage would have to be a step up, not back, in freedom.  It would have to be easy and sweet, as I have no intention of spending my days in a hell similar to the one of my first marriage.  But, like anyone, I would also like to love and be loved if I could find the right man to serve for his happiness, too.

I wouldn't say I'm a fan of polygamy, but being in my situation for years with no end in sight, I will admit that there have been moments when I have just thought to myself, "Gosh, will anyone just LEND their husband to me for one day a month!!  That's all I'm asking!!"  Ha ha ha.

Maidservant...

I've been widowed for 19 years now... after my husband died when I was 58 yrs old, I met a terrific 62 year old non-LDS man for dating/companionship... but he was a die-hard bachelor... I think I would have married him but he was adamant about not marrying... fortunately he honored my standards and we enjoyed a wonderful friendship for several years... in 2004 he left this area for a drier climate, and we eventually stayed in touch only occasionally.  I realized recently he was slipping mentally, and now he has serious Alzeheimer's, which breaks my heart because he had a wonderful mind... an interesting, talented, writer and musician.   He was the last person I dated...

I've reached the point where I, too, love being single... the freedom!... fortunately, if I'm careful I live quite comfortably, in an area that I love, with good friends and ward family, and a temple about 2 hrs away.  I retired at age 50, and thanks to my dear husband, and my 30 years working full time, have never had to go back to work these past 27 years.  But like you, I miss loving and being loved.  But being married to a non-LDS man, no matter how wonderful he was, meant that I was always alone in the temple, and at Church... and that was a heartache.

The taboo about interfaith marriage really needs to go. It's better to marry a good non-Mormon than to be alone your whole life.

That depends on numerous considerations.

I've heard it said that people considering a divorce should be made to "chaperone" a single adult dance first.

As for the dating app, I don't know if it's any good, but their ad is the funniest thing I've seen in a long time...

Mutual.  Good name.

I think Epolygamy.com has potential too.

I know many single LDS women in their 20's, 30's, and 40's and have heard the horror stories about find quality men.  These are attractive, educated, and genuinely lovely girls.  It's a problem that only seems to be getting worse.  They are turning down dates from nice single peers only go on dates with the leftover single LDS men that they outnumber 2 to 1.

From my own observation, those that finally opened to the possibilities of dating outside their religion have ended up in nice marriages.  Those that settled just to get married haven't fared as well.
