It acknowledges that the church has given 1.89 BILLION humanitarian aid since 1985 worldwide (which is 59 million a year for 32 years), without indicating how it got those numbers, which many here will recognize as more than previous disclosures. Good for Elder Christopherson, but really how wonderful that the Church is so recognized. Edited August 15, 2017 by rpn 4 Link to comment
Stargazer
Certain parties will react predictably in some fashion that will indicate that the Church is somehow at fault. Anyone who thinks otherwise lacks sufficient imagination. Just have patience. It won't take long. Edited August 17, 2017 by Stargazer Link to comment

Good for Elder Christopherson, but really how wonderful that the Church is so recognized. One problem with your math (59 million a year) is that it assumes the giving amount is linear. It is much more likely that the amount was much less than 59 million in 1985 and much more than that in 2016. Link to comment
