Tacenda Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 You could ask her to ask the dead person who she says she is talking to if he/she is in what we refer to as spirit prison or paradise. And how she can know if what that person is telling her is true.Ok, I'll figure out a way to put this forth. Thank you, or are you just chiding me?
Ahab Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Ok, I'll figure out a way to put this forth. Thank you, or are you just chiding me?I wasn't chiding you. Just trying to give you something to think about that I thought about. The fact that a dead person says something doesn't necessarily mean that what the dead person said is true, just as a living person saying something doesn't necessarily mean what the living person said is true. The dead person could be in what we refer to as spirit prison and even if he said something that was true it wouldn't mean everything he said is true. Even if the dead person believed it was true. So as always I'd want to know how someone knows what is the truth.
Ahab Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Ok, I'll figure out a way to put this forth. Thank you, or are you just chiding me?I've seen and heard from dead people, aka ghosts or spirits, and I didn't give them any extra points for believability simply because they were dead. First I had to find out for myself if what they were saying was true and in agreement with what our Father had already told me. And I don't believe him just because he is dead, or might be thought of as dead, either. I believe him because I have learned through my own experinces that what he tells me is true. And because he is my Father. And because I need to trust somebody and he is the one I have decided that he is worth all of my trust. And by the way, all dead people are living, because even dead people have immortal spirits that keep living after they die.
Sanpitch Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 A while back I got a phone call from someone who claimed to be my grandson and actually did sound like him. He said that he had gone to Mexico on vacation and there was a story about having drugs and he was arrested but he was innocent. However he would have to stay in jail for six weeks until it was settled. He needed $2,500 bail so he didn't have to spend that time in jail. Could I please sent him the money? I said what is your mother's name? He said, "Why do you have to know that, can't you just sent the money, I don't want to spend the next six weeks in jail?" I said what is your mothers name? There was click, he hung up. Why can't that same idea be used in talking to the dead? Ask the dead a question only you and the dead would know.

There are legit people out there, I think my niece is one of them. But even though I defend, I still have mixed feelings about my niece charging $.Now back to the topic at hand...sorry if once again I've derailed with this subject, terrible habit of mine.
JLHPROF Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Why is this terrifying? I'm going to assume you don't believe she can communicate with those on the other side. I've been a skeptic, but after reading the reviews and she is my niece, I know that she has held this gift in for far too long. Others make money on talents, I don't see the difference. Also, I'm assuming again, if you don't believe in this, how can you believe in feeling the spirit? Or, how can you believe those that say they see spirits in the temple. A former 1st counselor told me his wife saw someone she knew that died, in the temple. I've heard story after story of people being visited by those on the other side. My husband is the same way, yet how can he even say he believes there is a thin veil for example if he's adamant that there are no so called ghosts etc. I believe she may well be able to communicate with spirits.I just think the kind of spirits that communicate with mediums are not the kind of spirits one would want to meet.Spirits that cross the veil either do so by God's authority or the adversary's. 1
