Popular Post Ticketyboo
Some of you may remember that ours is a small Branch in Wales.Over the last two and a half years we've had five missionaries out serving, quite remarkable considering our size. The last 3 weeks have seen three return & the final one comes home on April 2nd.It has been a privelege to read their weekly emails while they've been away in Madrid Spain, Athens Greece, Alberta Canada, Los Angeles USA & Leeds England. What has been truly eye opening is to see them on their return & witness the transforming power that faithfully served missions has had upon them.None of them were wanting in any respect before they left, but they all have gained in both obvious & some intangible ways. 5 Link to comment
Garden Girl
Some of you may remember that ours is a small Branch in Wales. Hello Tickety...My dear husband was 100% Welsh (both sets of grandparents immigrated to the USA in early 1900s)... in 1986, we took a 3-week vacation to the British Isles (not nearly enough time), but we rented a car (fun driving on the "wrong" side) and spent time in England, Wales, over to Ireland and back by ferry, continuing up through northern Wales, and then into Scotland and finally back down into England for another couple days in London before heading back to San Francisco... He was particularly interested in Wales, and we found his grandfather's Church he attended as a boy before immigrating to the USA. We loved the beauty of the B.I., particularly Wales...
