LOSTONE Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 “ The Boy Who Came Back from Heaven' Recants Everything ” ... [ http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/the-boy-who-came-back-from-heaven-recants-everything/ar-AA8fa4j ]I have never believed in this kind of stuff when I hear people say it on tv or in a book or other media form. I think it’s all fake and made up for attention or money or some other personal want. This story above does not prove all similar stories are fake, but to me, it proves that there are some that are fakes. People should really look at their morals and fear judgment when they make up stuff like this. Any more so, people who want to or choose to believe stories like this should take a strong look at their faith and logic in a common sense way. Just because we want to believe something is true, does not make it true. Fake stories like the one above just shows how the devil can so easily fool people including believers. It also gives atheists another platform to use against believers.
The Nehor Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Sounds like the family was annoyed that they were not getting the money they want from the publisher. I want to believe that the story is true and they are recanting out of vengeance to cut sales. That would be hilarious.Sadly I suspect this is more a case of them deserving each other. 1
LOSTONE Posted January 16, 2015 Author Posted January 16, 2015 Ig God wants the dead to come back, he will allow it, but I really don't think it would be to get money or personal gains, but rather to share a message. So when these people claim this and that and they have a book or move or whatever, that just screams to me ((( FAKE ))). I could be wrong, but until I am proven wrong, I stand by this believe.
JLHPROF Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 I 100% believe NDE's happen. I 100% doubt anyone who publishes them is being truthful about their experience. In short, I think people come back from beyond the veil. I don't believe that making money is the goal of such an experience. 2

Can you tell this to those who spend hard earn money buying the books and watching the movies about this?
LOSTONE Posted January 21, 2015 Author Posted January 21, 2015 I know God is real. I am living proof of that. When my life failed and I fell, I turned to God and gave my life over to him. It was God or my own self destructions. Ever since that point, my life has changed greatly for the better. This is my prove that God is real. However, I have yet to see any prove these stories of dead to heaven and back again are real or actually happened has they where claimed to. The devil uses every trick to fool us and if we want to believe in something so bad as fact, we will give into that and the devil and be fooled by liars. I am not one of these people. Where is the prove ( not the money, attention, book/movie deals ) that these dead to heaven and back again stories are real? 1

It also gives atheists another platform to use against believers. My late father had a NDE -- in the morgue room of aSalt Lake hospital. The details he reported from thatexperience could not have been fabricated, nor simplyattributed to "brain shut-down" hallucinations. Nevertheless, he remained a lifelong atheist, and wouldsometimes mention parts of his NDE as contradictingJudeo-Christian afterlife doctrines. He attributed his strange, out-of-body observations tosome natural phenomenon, not yet precisely definedby Science. While living in South Asia I heard about peoples' NDEsin which they met Krishna or Radha -- I suppose thatsome folks would attribute such reports to "showinghow the devil can so easily fool people," even Hindus. Oh well... UD 1
LOSTONE Posted January 24, 2015 Author Posted January 24, 2015 Okay, there seems to be an over lapping of 2 similar yet different subjects being address here when my post was only addressing one. My fault for not clarifying it.I am not talking about a near death experience ( NDE ) as not actually being dead, but having an out of the body experience. I have had one of those in 2006 after a major heart attack. For me, they are real cause I experienced it first hand myself. Never the less, this is not what I was talking about in this post.I was talking about people who claim the have actually died and crossed over to the other side ( heaven or hell ) and have come back and shared their stories in the form of books, movies and other money making forms. I don’t believe these people actually died, crossed over, and then came back. If that was true, I would expect them to forgo making money or fame on it and rather have some sort of message or positive to share that did not cause people money to receive it. If these accounts are real, why is it that they seem to all be only willing to share in a medium ( books, movies, so on ) that they can charge for and make money and fame on? Plus, the details at time of such stories seem to greatly contradict scripture. I honestly don’t believe these people are telling the truth and that they are liars and a tool being used by the devil.I am not judging others for seeing it differently and not opening up my views for debate. I have said what I wanted and now moving on from this post. End of my “real life experience” story and I made no money off this one or fame. Hmm... Imagine that.

I have said what I wanted and now moving on from this post. End of my “real life experience” story and I made no money off this one or fame. Hmm... Imagine that. Seems that a fellow named Saul of Tarsus claimed to have visitedthe third heaven -- or, at least spoke of such a phenomenon --whether in the body, or out of it, he could not say. Later on, Mohammed claimed to have flown to heaven in thenight-time on a white charger -- one reason why Muslims callJerusalem (his purported place of departure) a holy city. Had Lazarus cared to comment, he might have given aninteresting account of what awaits the Jesus-follower after death. But, whose reports of these things can we productively consider,if we first of all rule out the NDE accounts? The Prophet (?) Jacob Cochran used to visit heaven (or so hesaid) and his followers recounted similar "experiences;" whetherin the body or out of it, they did not say -- but, since their bodieswere visible to others, during their soul-departures, perhaps wecan say OBE, and not physical removal to celestial realms. That leaves us with the fellows who were reportedly "translated"there (wherever "there" might be). Anybody care to relate whatEnoch or Elijah had to say? Seems to be a dead issue (pardon the terrible pun)... UD

Stargazer Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 Why would you want to know anything about me? I don't know why I am bothering, since I you say have me on ignore, but I will explain anyway. You've told some things about yourself here, things that made me feel quite sympathetic to your situation. I've even included you in my prayers, for what its worth. I still feel no ill will towards you and genuinely wish you happiness. I've been here on this forum posting for several years and you're the first person here to tell me that I was being "rude as hell". Like I said before, I didn't think I was being rude at all, but if you insist upon it, then so be it. I will confess to be rather shocked to be told I'm blocked. Perhaps it will make you feel better to hear that that actually hurt my feelings, so if revenge is what you were after, then you are avenged. And if that is the only service I can do for you, then it is well.
