Arizona Regional Conference

Loved it.  What I heard of it.  We had a lot of technical difficulties.  I was praying that the tech guys would have peace as I figured they were probably frustrated and doing their best.  Does anyone know where we can hear it recorded?

Interesting how it started withing the stake first.  The last couple I went to it was entirely broadcast from Salt Lake.  This time the first half hour was from out own stake.  Our Stake President spoke.  Is that what happened in your stakes?

Loved our stake president's talk.  Beautiful and humble talk about Christ.  I would love to have a copy of it.  The musical number one ward choir did really brought the Spirit in.

Loved, loved, loved the first talk.  It spoke to me.  This is the one I really need to hear again.  I missed so much with breaks here and there from the tech difficulties.

And Last - President Uchtdorf's apostolic blessing.  He blessed us with quickened minds and open hearts.  Then I missed much of the rest as I was trying to write it down.  Something about the influence of Satan being diminished ...mothers and fathers... Can anyone fill in the blanks please?

We had regular stake conference this weekend but I didn't get a lot out of this morning.

Time change + two babies under 18 months + meeting during nap time = a two hours I do not want to ever have to re-live.

However little you may (rightly, or at least understandably) value the sympathies of a never-married, long-term bachelor who is still his only child (), you have mine. :)

Thank you ken. :)

Towards the end of the meeting it got kind of funny because there were SO many people with their kids in the hallways. Sometimes misery really does live company.

This is easy for me to say because I can only say it from the perspective of a child rather than that of a parent, but I daresay (and remember that old saying about fools rushing in where angels fear to tread ;)) that some of the things that are most stressful now are the ones you'll look back at, years from now, and laugh the hardest at.  (Children are our parents' revenge on us! :D)
