So How Was The Womens Broadcast?

I find referring to it as a "broad" cast offensive.

You have to distinguish general sessions, I suppose. The priesthood session is not a general session of the conference. Back when an early morning welfare session was conducted early on Sunday morning, it was not identiefied as a general session either.

This is not true. I just listened to the intro's of the October 2012 conferences. The Saturday Morning Session was introduced as the first session, the priesthood session was introduced as "Welcome to the General Priesthood Session...." The Sunday Morning Session was introduced as the fourth session.

 

Interestingly, the video entry did not identify the General Women's Meeting as part of conference (rather it was identified as the September 2014 General Women's Meeting). Sister Wixom, likewise did not associate it with General Conference.

So will Priesthood session be the second session? (or whatever they called the Women's meeting, I have lost track.)  What do they usually announce when it begins?

 

"General Priesthood Session," to distinguish it from:

 

General Sessions of Conference; and

 

Aaronic vs Melchizedek sessions . . . 'cause it's general like that

The Saturday morning session opened with a prayer by a female who stated during the prayer "the first session of General Conference."  I think General Women's, General Priesthood, General Session, all describe each gathering as part of General Conference.
