Tsuzuki Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 (edited) Does someone teach the sex magic classes in the O.T.O?My local lodge holds public classes once a month on different topics. The last time it was on sex magick was about two years ago, and it was taught by Dr. David Shoemaker, clinical psychologist, past Lodgemaster, author of the book, Living Thelema, and host of the podcast of the same name. Also an all-around awesome guy. http://livingthelema.com/about-dr-shoemaker/ I don't know when there will be another class on sex magick, but there are a ton of other interesting topics. Blazing Star Oasis in Oakland, CA just had one on the parallels between Thelema and Mormonism taught by a returned missionary who's also a member of the O.T.O. Here's the official calendar for my local lodge. I host the anime nights on the 1st and 3rd Fridays. (Disco Inferno is me.)http://418lodge.org/Site/Calendar.html Edited October 10, 2014 by Tsuzuki
Tsuzuki Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 (edited) Anime rules. I loved Akira. The anime we're currently showing are two episodes each of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Vision of Escaflowne, and Cardcaptor Sakura. After Escaflowne is finished, I'll probably fill that spot with Nobunaga the Fool. Edited October 10, 2014 by Tsuzuki
VideoGameJunkie Posted October 10, 2014 Author Posted October 10, 2014 Bleach is very good and the new show Attack on Titan that's shown on adult swim Saturday nights looks pretty cool. Anime rulez.
Calm Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Attack on Titan is very violent. I can't watch it. Same with FMA which is a fascinating storyline but there is so much needless death and suffering that it just brings me down and there is something very disturbing in the artwork for me.
Kenngo1969 Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 In my ward I serve as a bad example. We all do that, to one degree or another. However, one might think that some of us were called and set apart for it!
Kenngo1969 Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Ward Finance clerk and (need I say it?) Home teacher. We should never forget that. I love the families I have home taught.
Silhouette Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Well, I'm a Visiting Teacher, but I don't have a "Sunday" calling yet.

Silhouette Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 You have a tremendous opportunity to be a force for good in the lives of the sisters to whom you minister. Never forget that! Thanks very much. I try, but sometimes I feel like I could be doing more.
