Talisker for me.  18-year if you can find it (hint - not Utah).  You can double-down on your unworthiness (in the eyes of believing LDS) by enjoying a good cigar with it (e.g., Davidoff #2's)--unlike the Islays you boys cited--Laphroaig, Lagavulin--that's just too much smoke

But if I were looking to pair General Conference with a proper beverage--it would have to be a Tawny Port.  Sticky, sweet and strong hints of nuttiness...

;0)

PS.  Sorry, couldn't resist

Well, the "strong hints of nuttiness" sound perfect for the beam-up street screechers who descend on Conference to yell at the Saints about being "Borned agin."

Pahoran

LOL.

Since I'm on an LDS board, I wanted to show my taste and discernment by saying Lagavulin

Unfortunately, we are probably to ignorant on the issue to be able to acknowledge your good taste and discernment.  While our discernment is strong in one type of spirt, it is worthless in discerning alcoholic spirits.  You are casting your pearls before swine (alcoholically speaking).  To me it's all just fermented stuff with funny names, but I'll take your word for it.

Hey, it sounds cooler, that is the extent of my ability to judge.

Long time, Pahoran.  Missed having someone around here to label my punctuation, "Tanneresque" (whatever it means).  Where you been?!?

PS.  In the immortal words of American hip-hop artist Eminem, Shady's back, tell a friend
