EllenMaksoud Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 It's been a rough few weeks with sickness, struggles, disappointments, and my own sin nature. I wish I could say that I suffer silently but that is not the case. I am sorry. Perhaps the next time struggles come, I will perform with more dignity.
Avatar4321 Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 I dont see anything to apologize for. You're allowed to be human.
Stargazer Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 I agree, you are fine. Everyone melts down sometimes. Even me. Except I do so by writing enormous tomes and wasting everyone's time posting them.Love having you here! Don't you ever leave!
Kenngo1969 Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 That's what the Atonement is all about. One of my favorite Hymns in the LDS Hymnal is "How Gentle God's Commands": One of the verses reads, "His goodness stands approved, unchanged from day to day, I'll drop my burden at His feet and bear a song away." One thing that always helps me (when I remember to do it) is to give other people and parties the benefit of every possible doubt: remember that if I'm upset about something another person or entity has done (whether it be the Church, a Church leader, a fellow Saint, or someone else) is to realize that there's a good chance I don't have all the facts related to the situation, to realize that most people do the things they do because it's the best thing they feel they can do given their circumstances, to realize that chances are very good no ill-will was intended (the other party involved might not even know how I feel about the situation), et cetera. 2
TAO Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 (edited) Don't worry about it. You've been fine. I wish you the best of luck in life, in both struggles and blessings =). Edited June 28, 2013 by TAO
