DH Posted December 24, 2012 Posted December 24, 2012 It's not Christmas here, yet, but Merry Christms Eve! And Merry Christmas tomorrow! I'm going to be all "partied out" by the end of the holiday season. People keep inviting me to dinners and parties. Kinda exhausting, but it is fun! 3

canard78 Posted December 24, 2012 Posted December 24, 2012 Merry Christmas all. I'm going to make this my last until 26th. I know my wife and kids would love 'electronics off' 36 hours.Having said that, I know what DW is getting for Christmas and she'll almost certainly follow the same rule, so I may break my resolution if I become an ipad-widow. (I hope she doesn't read this!) 3

Scatter gladness ev'rywhere! Sing the carols of the Christ child: Let your neighbors know you care. 2. Have a most exciting Christmas! Ring a bell and trim a tree; Stuff a stocking for a loved one; Hang the holly joyously. 3. Have a happy fam'ly Christmas! Gather all your loved ones near; Talk about the baby Jesus; Wrap your hearts in love this year. 2
Nathair/|\ Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 Please accept without obligation, express or implied, these best wishes for an environmentally safe, socially responsible, low stress, non addictive, and gender neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday as practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice (but with respect for the religious or secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or for their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all) and further for a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated onset of the generally accepted calendar year (including, but not limited to, the Christian calendar, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures). The preceding wishes are extended without regard to the race, creed, colour, age, physical ability, religious faith, choice of computer platform, or sexual preference of the wishee(s). 3
Mudcat Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 (edited) Merry Christmas Skylla and thanks for starting the thread. It's almost 2 am here. I just got through with the "assembly required" portion of the Santa gig. All the goodies are laid out and the rest of the house is now asleep. Mrs. Claus was a big a help and we took a moment to thank each other for a job well done. The two eldest mudkittens, 12 and 10 years of age now, don't seem to have much faith in man in a red suit these days, but the seem to fully understand and appreciate the game and regardless.. they have a great deal of faith in the beliefs and intentions of the parents that sponsor the show . Wonderful kids. The youngest, Jon Christian, he's only 3 and a half and it's a fun time for him. I guess it's fun for everyone.. me included.I love this time of year when we celebrate the birth of Jesus. My favorite Gospel Christmas story is only two verses long and found in the 1st chapter of John so I will offer it.John 11 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God........14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. My best Christmas wishes to all the forum posters! I have so many friends here and am blessed for knowing you. There was a point that I had a more time for personal salutations amid the season but this time of year has become overly busy. Mrs. Mudcat's ballet studio has grown to the point that she was able to conduct a full ballet of the Nutcracker this year. It was a wonderful success in all three shows. As the stage setup person, the special effects and props constructions person, the sound and lights person, the impromptu take a characters role because they can't make a show person, the tear it all down and pack it back to the studio in a day (even though it took 4 days to set it) person, among many other hats I got to wear in that deal.. well ..... its been a lot busier than I described. A lot of fun and memories for sure though.I love you guys and gals and wish you the best Christmas ever as we celebrate the birth of Christ.Regards,Mudcat Edited December 25, 2012 by Mudcat 3
