Anakin7 Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 (edited) After taking my wife to a job location yesterday I was in the area of Chick publications so I decided to visit there facility again. I went in and found again a vast array of publications [books/Comic Books/Tracts] dealing with the Dangers of Catholicism/Muslims/Alexandrian cult text and any other Bible outside the King James Version Kingdom/ And YES there were the standard "Visitors" tract and "Enchantor" comic on Joseph Smith along with 4-5 other publications critical of The LDS Church/Faith/ Belief according to there observation/version of it. I observed older gentlemen coming in and out of the door [a couple younger men as well along with a woman and her children]. I Saw Daniel Davis who is a researcher/writer of several of there publications, I said hello to him and after I reminded him of our past brief meeting he was christlike and said hello and after a few brief exchanges he said "God Bless You" which I thought was not to be said of an unbeliever/non christian cultist. He also has a new book/DVD out defending the KJV Only Posistion. I met another young man there [Cannot remember his name] but had an interesting conversation after I told him I was LDS. He was Christlike in his approach to presenting his view of God preserving his word in english by way of the KJV [which now they have a Bible in Spanish that is exactly fathful and true to the KJV Text]. We also got into the topic of the meaning of Grace [charis] Faith [ Pistis] in its meaning in greek. He stated that men have added meanings to the plain words of Grace/Faith and should be taken at face value. I told him that the anchient meaning of the words Grace/faith were applicable today as they were in biblical times. I have been told that when it comes to which is superior - Hebrew/Greek or english it is the english that wins out in the KJV mindsets of KJV only family. It was an interesting conversation, no bashing, raising of voices or being called anything unchistlike. Any material I can Read on line [ Outside of www.kjvonly.org which defends modern versions against KJV only adherents] and the anchient languages superiority over english to bring out its true meanigs that I can read on line ?, Thanks in advance.In His Debt/GraceAnakin7LDS JEDI KNIGHT Edited October 4, 2012 by Anakin7 1

As far as Jack is concerned Matt Slick and CARM are all hell bound. His "org" is akin to Westboro Baptist.

If I recall, his booklet about Islam makes the claim that it was secretly started by Catholics to further the cause of evil. Well, perhaps it simply shows his insecurity of being in a position without an authority, so he castigates those who claim authority (Catholics, Orthodox, Mormons).
