Ignorant things John Dehlin says:
1. In his Brant Gardener interview, he said he wasn't aware that Aramaic written with Egyptian script was been discovered, which really made me doubt whether he and other people who leave the Church have really examined the evidence from both sides.
2. He keeps beating that drum that those who know the most about LDS history don't find the LDS narrative to be credible. I have it from different sources that this is hogwash. Just the opposite is true.
3. He thinks Sam Harris is persuasive. There have been prominent atheists who have publicly said that the New Atheist make crappy arguments.
For the record, I do not think he is anti-. I think he's into self-promotion and wants to appeal to the greatest number of people possible. But his attempt to bring both believers and non-believers at the same table is a logistical joke - no wonder non-believers dominate. Do I want to here ex-Mormons whine about the Church?
Whenever I listen to the really good podcasts, like the ones featuring Terry Givens or Michael Quinn, I keep encountering these anti's say, "Smart people believe stupid things. Here's a link to this stupid Michael Shermer argument..."

I really loved his interviews prior to the last three months. He seemed more fair and tried to allow those on both sides to belive as they want. Recently the program has become a soap box for pointing out percieved problems. I still catch Witherspoon on Mormon Matters and still find him relatively balanced in his approach. Mormonexpression very rarely has me as a listener.... way too one sided negative.

Lets not have a board war.
This is a Mormon dialogue and discussion board, not a misrepresent, demonize and debate board. Please learn the difference before posting.
